Walt Disney and MIckey Mouse Statue in Orlando

Orlando and Kissimmee Opens Back Up to Family Fun

Slowly, but surely the Orlando/Kissimmee area is emerging from COVID-19, and there’s still time to plan your summer vacation. Your best bet is to check with each of these venues for their current status and future plans or, visit Experience Kissimmee for more information. Walt Disney World (WDW) is planning to reopen the Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom on July 11 with Epcot and Hollywood Studios following on July 15. But WDW will enforce specific restrictions with capacities reduced to encourage proper social distancing.

First, WDW guests will have to make advance reservations for the day and theme park they want to visit. When they arrive, customers will have their temperatures taken and will need to wear face masks whenever they are in the park to create a safer environment for everyone.

Some of the stores in Disney Springs are already open and a good number of restaurants are offering outdoor seating with more to follow so check out their website for details.
